Raised in Atlanta and refined in New York, Daralyn Jay is a performer that truly defies categorization—an accomplished actor, vocalist and dancer, she has appeared in regional and New York theater in plays ranging from Shakespeare and contemporary dramas to musical theater and has several independent films, television commercials and voice-overs to her credit.
A familiar voice on the New York music scene, she is as capable of scatting her way through a swing chorus as tossing a soulful riff. She is also a frequent vocal arranger and guest for pop, rock, hip-hop and multigenre artists.
